Mentors

Parental cooperation and support is invaluable to FRC team members. Parents can act as a resource as well as volunteers to assist with transportation, refreshments, fundraising and more. Asking a parent/volunteer to work with teams in his/her area of expertise provides valuable one-on-one interaction. Teams require mentors of all areas of expertise from manufacturing all the way to accounting. Without the help of dedicated parent and teacher volunteers a team would not run. The next time your at a meeting remember to thank all the parents and teachers who volunteer their time to help students prosper in the fields of their choice.
