Dear Parents and Students,

As you prepare for the new school year, below are school supplies students should have by Monday, September 8^th:

•   3 ring binder (11/2 - 2 inches thick)
•   5 dividers OR 5 folders (1 for each subject)
•   zipper pouch or zip lock baggy for writing utensils
•   zip lock baggy with $.50 cents for phone
•   $1.75 for forgotten lunch money
•   Old sock for white board erasing
•   1 erasable white board marker
•   Colored pencils/crayons
•   Scissors 
•   1 subject spiral notebook for their Extra Math (MCAS Math) class
•   1 ruler
•   1 glue stick
•   2 packs of 3x5 lined index cards
•   1 highlighter (any color)
•   3 pencils with erasers (NO mechanical pencils please)
•   3 blue or black ink ERASABLE pens
•   2 red pen

•   1 box of tissues

  In addition, students are required to cover their textbooks. They will need 5 non-sticky, brown grocery bag or stretchy fabric covers. Also, independent reading is very important in my classroom. Students should bring a reading book of their choice to school on the first day.
