Dear Parents,

My name is Mrs. Reynolds, I am the D.L.C. teacher at the Agawam Middle School.  I am very excited to be working with your child this year!  

Our classroom  will be a very structured one.  We will work on controlling behavior, interacting positively with peers and organization.  I ask that students leave toys at home.  Pencils and notebooks will be given to the students in class.  I have found that providing these materials for the students to be much less distracting for them.  If your child needs to bring in any materials from home, I will notify you through the Agawam Middle School Agenda.

I will be assigning homework Monday through Thursday.  I will always assign Reading and Math.  Please check the agenda for assignments.  It will also be fine to help your child with their homework.  Homework is essential for mastery.
